Frances Newton Still Scheduled For Death

Protest Of Attorney Ron Mock

On Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 3:30pm sharp at the National Black United Front (NBUF) 2428 Southmore a coalition of families and community activist will gather to protest attorney Ron Mock who "represented" Frances Newton who is scheduled for death on September 14, 2005.

According to one source in spite of the castastrophe of Hurricane Katrina and masses of people being placed in Houston, Texas death penalty cases will continue as scheduled. Therefore, the efforts to lift the issues of a moratorium on the death penalty and a new trial for Frances must continue.
